Jack Sparrow from the Pirates movies is one of my favorite of Johnny Depp's characters. Another of my favorite Johnny Depp movie is Sleepy Hollow. There are many sites which have information on Johnny Depp's biography and they are much more detailed so I will just put a few pertinent facts about Johnny on that page.

Johnny Depp Biography

Johnny Depp was born in Kentucky June, 18, 1962.  Johnny Depp is 5'11" tall and has brown hair and very dark brown eyes reflecting his American Indian decent which shows in his face with his high cheekbones. I don't think there are any men which are much better looking than Johnny Depp but he hasn't gone after romantic roles. He has always opted for the odd type of roles. Something very different from his first TV show, 21 Jump Street.  He became a teen idol overnight and he didn't like it.

Since those days he has done 6 films with Tim Burton This equally quirky director meshes well with Johnny. His newest film, set to be released just before Christmas has Johnny singing the title role of Sweeney Todd.

Johnny Depp has been my favorite actor for so long that I just had to create some photo art work of him.

Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow starred in the movie The Pirates of the Caribbean, The Curse of the Black Pearl and in the second movie, Dead Man’s Chest.  The third movie At World’s End was a hit as well and now there is talk of a forth movie but not until Johnny Depp has fulfilled his other acting contracts which include the new movie by Tim Burton,  Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Sweeney Todd is  based on the hit Broadway play penned by Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler musical of the same name

Johnny Depp has always been his own man, you can read more about him and his movies past and present by clicking here.  Never bending to Hollywood demands and living his life with his soon to be wife, Vanessa Paradis, he resides in Paris, London, Hollywood and a private island in the Caribbean.  He certainly can be called today’s “Pirate of the Caribbean”.

Johnny Depp has worked on many films with quirky award winning director Tim Burton. Johnny and Tim are currently working on their 6th Pinewood together.  This film is being shot in London’s Pinewood Studios and is based on the hit Broadway musical which tells the infamous story of Benjamin Barker, a.k.a. Sweeney Todd, who sets up a barber shop down in London which is the basis for a sinister partnership with his fellow tenant, Mrs. Lovett.

This film stars Johnny Depp as Sweeney Todd, Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs. Lovett, Alan Rickman as Judge Turpin, Sacha Baron Cohen as Signor Adolfo Pirelli and  Laura Michelle Kellyas Lucy.

Johnny is currently on location filming Public Enemy.
